Test your AI employee before launch

Your AI employee can be on your site and ready to test before any visitor sees it. You try it, adjust it, and only then switch it on.

Six steps to launch

  1. Install the widget switched off

    Copy the one-line snippet from the Embed tab and paste it into your site before </body>. We can also do it with you on the launch call.

    In the Role & settings tab, keep the Public widget enabled switch off. Visitors see nothing.

  2. Open your preview link

    On the Embed tab, the Test before launch card shows a link to your site with a private code at the end, plus a QR code. Open the link on your computer and scan the QR code with your phone.

    The AI employee appears only for you, marked Preview. It stays on while you click around your site in that browser tab. The × next to Preview turns it off.

    Whoever maintains your site can also switch preview from the browser console: KolegaWidget.preview("<code>") turns it on, KolegaWidget.preview(false) turns it off.

  3. Try what your customers will ask

    Ask the questions you actually get:

    • Products: a specific model, a vague need (“something for a newborn”), price and stock.
    • Your policies: delivery cost and time, returns, payment.
    • A human hand-off: say there's a problem with an order and ask for a person. The AI employee takes your contact, and the email goes to the escalation address set for your workspace (Escalations → Escalation settings). While you're testing, its subject starts with [TEST].
    • On your phone: open the chat, type, scroll, close.

    These conversations are marked as tests and stay out of your reports.

  4. Adjust

    Colours, greeting and position live in the Appearance tab.

    If an answer is wrong or missing, send us the question. We fix it at the source — your catalog or your policy text — not with a one-off patch.

  5. Switch it on

    In the Role & settings tab, turn the Public widget enabled switch on. Visitors see it on their next page load.

  6. Switching off is instant

    Flip the same switch back off. Open chats stop answering right away, and the bubble disappears for each visitor on their next page load.

    A visitor who sends a message in a chat that's still open sees a short notice you set in the Appearance tab.
